We are Zondervan, a publishing house located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, serving Evangelical Christian book-readers, authors, and booksellers.

Every week we discover online content that is of special interest to us as publishers, editors, creatives, readers and writers. Like you, we like to share we we find with our friends and colleagues — which unfortunately results in a lot of email floating back and forth, some discussion, and a lot of duplication of effort and information.

So, with hope that we can reduce our  internal email and information overload, we’ve created this site of curated content that is (also hopefully) relevant to our company and, therefore, many others involved in our niche industry.

Every week there are more interesting things happening and being talked about in the publishing and book world than we can list here. This is just the stuff that has floated to the top and has captured our attention in some way. Our selection of stories to point to in no way reflects an opinion that these are the only stories worth considering, nor should you infer a position on our part in this selection of items.

(For the curious, the curation here is currently  managed by a Zondervan employee, Rich Tatum. Feel free to tweet news, tips, questions, or concerns: @RichTatum.)

  1. Might be worth replacing the default WordPress guff on this page with your little disclaimer/statement of purpose:

This resource has been curated for your enjoyment and education. It is intended to reflect what publishers and leaders in the Christian publishing industry are thinking and talking about — it does not reflect the positions or opinions of Zondervan, its authors, agents, employees, or leadership.

    • Yes, we’ll write that up… We’re just building up a backlist of posts for now, and it’s mostly internal usage, so we haven’t had the “About” page as a priority yet.

      But thanks for the reminder!
